NFL Combine 2017: Wisconsin RB Corey Clement has lots of questions to answer

The 2017 NFL Draft is one of the deepest ever when it comes to running backs.

The class is topped by Florida State’s Dalvin Cook, LSU’s Leonard Fournette and Stanford’s Christian McCaffrey, but there are a handful of others who could be solid contributors in the NFL.

Wisconsin’s Corey Clement considers himself among the best backs in this year’s draft, especially after a bounce-back senior season that saw him earn first-team All-Big Ten honors. While Clement is not listed among the top 10 running backs on most analysts’ draft boards, he believes he belongs.

“I’m sorry we couldn’t bring you a championship, but I wish you and my former organization the very best in your pursuit for one in the future,” Marshall wrote in a lengthy Instagram post. “I’m looking forward to finding a great organization where I can contribute and bring home a championship.
