Eddie Lacy gets a fat bonus from Seahawks if he can lose weight

Shortly after the Seahawks signed Eddie Lacy, a report came out about his weight being at 267 pounds, or 30 pounds heavier than he was a season ago.

This talk spread through NFL circles, and eventually Pete Carroll commented on it, saying he wants Lacy big but down closer to the 240 range. If Lacy is able to get down to Seattle’s preferred weight for him, then he can earn a solid bonus, according to multiple reports.

Seahawks RB Eddie Lacy’s 1-year deal is protected — $1M in per-game roster bonuses, a $385K workout bonus and a $385K weight bonus.

Cooks, 23, enters 2017 in the fourth year of his Saints’ rookie contract, a year in which he will earn $1.56 million in base salary. The Saints will still owe him roughly $1.1 million in bonus money and have till May 3 to exercise his fifth-year option for $8.5 million in 2018.

Cooks, who seemed frustrated at his reduced role in New Orleans in 2016, regardless pulled down 78 receptions for 1,173 yards and eight touchdowns last season. He will join a receiving corps that ranked fourth in the league last season with 269 passing yards per game.

New England, thanks to recent trades bringing in Dwayne Allen and Kony Early, now Cheap Germany Soccer Jerseys has no picks in the first two rounds, but still has two thirds, a fourth and two fifth-round picks. New Orleans now has five picks in the first three rounds in this year’s draft, including Nos. 11 and 32 overall.
